As of 1/11/2015, this search reveals over 950 search results from Instagram.com alone, many of which are the Instagram model solicitations. About Instagram username switching: Instagram allows users to change their usernames without creating a new account, which is likely why Jonathan Ayana has been able to change his username without losing his post history or his 3,000+ Instagram Followers. |
Other Known Identities
Prior Identities (No Longer Active)
Above: Prior to being publicly exposed as a scammer on this page on December 2nd, 2014, Ayana had previously used his own photo as an avatar on several of his social media accounts.
Please refer to the section "The Solicitations" below to see how Ayana's three known Instagram user accounts used for perpetrating fraud and sending threats are directly connected to one another, as well as how Ayana's own primary Instagram account is linked to social media profiles directly associated with his real-life identity.

The scammer has been unmasked and confirmed as college student Jonathan Ayana of Denton, TX. After his prior Facebook accounts under aliases Jonathan Saint James and Jonathan Saint Cloud had been disabled, Ayana had apparently begun using his primary real-name Facebook account to send messages to models via Facebook Messenger. This was surprising in its carelessness -- however Ayana had apparently been at this for at least 3 years and he may have felt confident he was getting away with swindling people. In addition, performing a simple Google search on the phone number known to be associated with the scammer matched publicly-posted information about Ayana from his own university website. Screen captures of conversations Ayana had with several models reveal his personal Facebook account was used for solicitation of models as well as the subsequent threatening messages.
Jonathan Ayana, full name Esosa Jonathan Ayana is a senior at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX just outside Dallas. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, where he is listed publicly on their online member roster. This university page lists his email address as esosaayana@my.unt.edu and a phone number of (718) 704-8142, which is the same phone number reported by those harassed by him.
This number has a 718 New York area code, which would be possible to obtain by anyone using a freely available call forwarding service such as Google Voice, which allows users to select their own mobile number and area code. Through his online personas he has claimed to have a New York office in Soho, and using a false number with a NYC area code would enable him to fake being based in New York, when he is actually just a residing in Texas.
A public records report from Intelius reveals that Esosa Jonathan Ayana is from San Angelo, TX and has a prior criminal history for misdemeanor theft in 2012.
Note: Despite the fact that Jonathan Ayana routinely threatened people with exposing their personal information, phone numbers, home addresses and made threats toward models and their families, I've still chosen to obscure his home address from this screen capture above. However, this information can be found as part of public record.
Not all of my stolen photos are included here. There are over a dozen, but this is just a small sample. Numerous photographs taken by myself and other photographers were stolen by Jonathan Ayana under Instagram username @BlakeDavinci ( Now Closed as of 1/13/15) and he used those images to falsely claim model representation.
Jonathan Ayana's Instagram accounts are now currently set to Private as of this writing.

... he's also kind of a jerk. But it's nothing compared to what's next...
Here is just a small sample of the solicitations. Solicitations were made to models from three known Instagram user accounts @JadoreGQ, @BlakeDavinci, and @SeanPatrick77777. These three usernames would post virtually identical solicitations, mentioning one another as associates. Because the associates' referenced job titles seemed to shift between conversations very inconsistently, it's highly likely that these are all Jonathan Ayana.

In retaliation for refusing his solicitations, Ayana falsely reported model Jonathan Irizarry's Facebook profile as "fake" profile, prompting Facebook to deactivate his account. Ayana proudly admits to being responsible for taking down Irizarry's Facebook profile and business page, and makes further threats, then claims to have done the same to Irizarry's friend, another bodybuilder named Cody Montgomery.

Even though Ayana routinely used the threat of having models' personal information and photos posted onto gay porn websites -- he himself is openly gay, according to his publicly-accessible OKCupid dating profile -- just in case his primary objective of soliciting male models for their nude photos weren't an indicator enough. Taking pride in being gay while simultaneously using it as a threat is particularly reprehensible -- but that didn't stop him from telling someone to "go gag on a cock fag" when responding to the scrutiny of commenters when confronted and exposed on Instagram in early December.
This custom Google search reveals the large number of solicitations by Jonathan Ayana's prolific Instagram scamming accounts directed toward other users.
Ayana is still active as of 1/13/15. We need your help! If you have received threats from Jonathan Ayana, please file a police report with your local police department. Refer them to this website and ask your local officials contact The City of Denton Police Department at (940) 349-8181.
For over a year, numerous models, photographers and (yes, real) model agents have posted warnings regarding Jonathan Ayana's unscrupulous behavior.

Shortly after I originally posted this page and warning on my Instagram account, Jonathan Ayana finally speaks up, offering some of the most vitriolic and delusional reponses I've seen, despite being directly rebuffed by other models and photographers recounting identical experiences of harassment and threats.

Note: Jonathan Ayana deleted his comments about a day after it was posted. All other responses from other people including those responding to him remain intact. Here is another thread of Instagram comments involving Jonathan Ayana on the offensive.

Amusingly, Jonathan Ayana also uses his other online personas to compliment himself in his own Instagram photos.Source: Matt Mendrun at http://facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10203017386823709. (View Context) It has since been edited by Jonathan Ayana, presumably after seeing this post.
Shortly after I originally posted this expose my Tumblr blog, Ayana attempted to have Tumblr remove my post. On what grounds? He claimed his copyright was being violated.
Funny, considering that I got wind of all of this in the first place because Ayana was stealing MY photography to pass himself off as a modeling agent! I appealed to Tumblr that the likenesses of Ayana fell under fair use and the report itself was newsworthy and essential to informing others of fraud. The post remained active.
Then on January 8th, I received this email from Ayana via email jadoregq@gmail.com.
I did not respond to his email. Honestly, it kind of made me laugh. Not only was he denying everything and accusing me of harassing him, he then went to acknowledge that he had indeed confronted me on my Instagram page when I initially had exposed him. This whas when he posted under @JadoreGQ and had commented on my Instagram post where I exposed him. This complete exchange is documented on my page (see above, First Reactions), which also included his veiled threats towards me. During this exchange, he also made a big deal bragging about having a NYC office in Soho. My question is, if he really did have an office in NYC, why would he be filing a police report in Dallas?? If he's really trying to defend himself, then he needs to decide if he's a NYC modeling agent, or a music student in Texas with ZERO credibility in the modeling industry whatsoever. Because in his message above he is acknowledging being complicit in both scenarios.
Also, if Ayana had indeed spoken to "two lawyers in the Chicago area", they should have corrected him on the difference between slander and libel. Slander is spoken. Libel is written. But to be qualify as either slander or libel, the claims must be proven to be untrue. The evidence against Ayana is overwhelming. And the digital trail does not lie. And this trail will remain, even if those accounts are deleted.
Unfortunately on January 10th, Tumblr removed my page, citing privacy violation presumably reported by Ayana. I countered that the information I presented was already public (Ayana's contact information was already plainly visible on the UNT Choral Director's Association member page). Unfortunately the page was not restored. Interesting that he would claim privacy violation when he routinely threatened to post people's own personal phone numbers and home addresses on pornography websites.
The page was updated and revised, and posted here as you see it now. I will not be taking it down.
And in Ayana's own crass words that he seemingly relished while taunting, harassing and threatening so many others, "enjoy Googling yourself... you bitchass cunt!" Right back at you!
Even as Ayana plainly acknowledged that his colleagues had all been made aware of his activity, he still continued his lies and harassment...
Early January I was informed by several models that Jonathan Ayana was continuing to actively solicit models.
